As Formigas' is the latest collective creation by Companhia Chapitô and brings to the stage a repudiation of war and dehumanisation, the result of the reality we have witnessed in various parts of the world.
The performance portrays a scenario of combatants living in a city surrounded by the violence of war, which challenges their humanity.
Exposed to cold, mud, hunger and death, these combatants search for a fragile normality while questioning the meaning of their existence in a world at the mercy of war's irrationality.
