The dancers of the Tchaikovsky National Ballet are in Lisboa to perform the “Grand Christmas Ballet”.
The Nutcracker, one of Tchaikovsky’s most famous ballets, features the original choreography by Lev Ivanov and a libretto by Marius Petipa, which is partially based on a text by Alexandre Dumas inspired by Hoffmann’s tale The Nutcracker and the Mouse King.
