The Peculiar Crime of Oddball Mr Jay

This exhibition takes us behind the scenes of this 11-minute puppet film, a very popular Portuguese film that has already been presented at more than 100 international festivals and won a dozen awards.

In a city where nature has been forbidden, a small crime by a simple man triggers a chain of unexpected consequences.

This exhibition reveals the behind-the-scenes of the almost 11minute long puppet short film directed by Bruno Caetano.

The Portuguese film is one of the most shown all over the world, having participated in more than a hundred international festivals and won a dozen awards.

Composed of streets, squares and façades of a miniature Lisboa, the exhibition shows several of the film’s sets, as well as used models, casts and graphic research material.
