Lisbon will be the stage for the biggest annual event in the performing arts of burlesque, cabaret, circus and variety on the 6th and 7th of October, in the new Espaço Laboratório: The Spectacular Cabaret Fest.

Created by the association of artists Grande Cabaret Lisboa, with the ambition of recovering the glamor and bohemian style of the great European metropolises of which Lisbon is included, the 5th edition of the Festival was organized in partnership with Cartola de Artistas and the support of the new Espaço Laboratório.

The public will be able to watch performances by some of the best national and international artists in magic/illusionism, aerial, burlesque, contortionism, cabaret, acrobatics, drag, circus, dance, singing, balancing, hair suspension and freekshow,” explains Luísa Correia (name artistic Louise L'Amour), member of Grande Cabaret Lisboa, one of the organizers of the show and a prestigious burlesque artist.

The Spectacular Cabaret Fest will open its doors on both days at 7pm with a Vintage, Secondhand and Burlesque market. On October 6th, Friday, the Contest Show & Open Stage will take place from 9:30 pm. On October 7th, Saturday, The Spectacular Gala will take place from 9:30 pm. The festival ends on this day with an After Party that will take place on Saturday from midnight.
