Built in 1945 and restored in 1988, nowadays it is used for visits in the river Tagus.
VISITS TO THE VARINO LIBERDADE BOAT
Built in 1945 and named Campino, it was used to transport goods on the river Tejo.
During the 1960s it was used to transport salt on the river Sado, but since then it fell into disuse.
In 1988, Vila Franca de Xira council restored it and renamed it Liberdade.
With a length of 18 metres, a round bow, flat bottom and two sails, nowadays it is used for visits that start from Vila Franca de Xira and pass by the Parque das Nações Marina, Conchoso, around the Mouchões and the 25 April Bridge.
