Estação Sul Sueste / Doca da Marinha

With the rehabilitation of Sul Sueste station, Lisboa thus gains new cultural and leisure spaces and new possibilities for connections between both banks of the Tejo.

Eight boat companies have at your disposal different river tours to discover the Tejo and its margins from 9.00am to 8.00pm.

Integrated into the Sul Sueste is the Centro Tejo, a multimedia presentation for interpretation, appreciation, and environmental awareness on both banks of the river where you can discover different views of Lisboa and know more about Tejo and is experience.

Sul Sueste also has available a Tourist Office and a Lisboa Shop, open from 10am to 7pm, where visitors can get all information they need and buy a different souvenir.

Two cafes will be part of the Sul Sueste station, one including an exterior terrace and the other only terrace. Both serving their guests with the best Lisboa flavors and overlooking the Tejo estuary on a unique ambiance.

The intervention at the Doca da Marinha gave rise to a wooded area, where the view over the city and the river invites passersby to stroll, in a space that houses an artistic installation by Julião Sarmento.

This area now becomes a space for catering and entertainment activities, where pedestrian and cycling routes are also guided.

Twenty-three traditional boats of different types, like “Catraios”, “Varinos” or “Muletas”, among other, will be able to take you along the Tejo for a unique journey. Open from 9am to 8pm.
