Information for travellers - #StaySafe

On May 4th, Portugal reduces the restrictions by implementing the  “state of public calamity".

During this month, it will start the reopening of small shops and from may 18th, cafes, restaurants, museums and monuments. However, all businesses will have restrictions limiting the number of customers.

Masks will be obligatory on public transport and in businesses open to the public.

From May 18th

What opens?

  • Stores with open doors to the street up to 400 m2 or parts of shops up to 400 m2 (or larger by decision of the local authority)
  • Restaurants, cafes and pastry shops (50% capacity, open until 11 pm)
  • Terraces

What remains closed?

  • Nightclubs and bars.
  • Spas, swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), gyms, spas, massages
  • Congress centers and conference rooms
  • Casinos and bingo’s
  • Bullring
  • Indoor sports events and / or with public.
  • Events / gatherings with more than 10 people, except:

 

Opening of AIRPORT TOURISM STATION ON 1st OF JUNE from 7:00 am to 0:00 am.

All the National Museums and Monuments are closed, as well as municipal equipments and main private collections.
