     TRAVEL Services and information

 

Due to government measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, there are many restrictions on schedules, accesses and regular behaviours.

• For those traveling :
      
       - Travelers may request the EU COVID Digital Certificate to facilitate safe and free movement within the European Union, simplifying the travel process upon arrival in the country of destination: www.sns24.gov.pt
       - Mandatory presentation of a RT-PCR test to covid-19 with a negative result, carried out within the last 72h, at the entry of Portugal, by air or sea.
       - Travellers from high-risk countries (more info at www.sef.pt) , in addition to presenting the test with negative result, must complete a 14-day isolation period after entry to mainland Portugal, either at home or at a place determined by Health Authorities.

 

 

      Schedules:

 

Presentation of the EU Covid Digital Certificate or negative test to Covid-19 at:

  • Traveling by air or sea;
  • Hotels and Local Accommodation;
  • Restaurants - indoor areas | on weekends and holidays;
  • Gymnasiums (for group classes);
  • Spas;
  • Casinos and bingos;
  • Cultural, sport or corporate events with more than 1,000 people/outdoor or 500 people/indoor;
  • Weddings and baptisms with more than 10 people.
     

General Rules

· Restaurants can now be open until 2:00 am, the maximum number of 8 people per group/table inside and 15 people on the terraces. It is still necessary, on Friday nights, weekends and holidays, to present he EU Covid Digital Certificate or negative tests;
· Sport and cultural events with public capacity restrictions, defined by the DGS (National Health Entity);
· Cultural equipments with 75% of the capacity;
· Weddings and baptisms venues with a 75% capacity;
· Shops and shopping centres are open are operating at regular hours, without time limitations;
· The consumption of alcoholic beverages in outdoor spaces and on public areas is not allowed;
· Public transport without limited capacity;
· The use of a mask is optional in outdoor spaces and recommended whenever it is not possible to maintain physical distance. In interior areas, the use of masks will continue to be mandatory in commercial and service establishments, in public buildings, in concert halls, cinemas or similar and on public transport.
