     TRAVEL Services and information

 

Due to government measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, there are many restrictions on schedules, accesses and regular behaviours.

• For those traveling :
      
       - Travelers may request the EU COVID Digital Certificate to facilitate safe and free movement within the European Union, simplifying the travel process upon arrival in the country of destination: www.sns24.gov.pt
       - Mandatory presentation of a RT-PCR test to covid-19 with a negative result, carried out within the last 72h, at the entry of Portugal, by air or sea.
       - Travellers from high-risk countries (more info at www.sef.pt) , in addition to presenting the test with negative result, must complete a 14-day isolation period after entry to mainland Portugal, either at home or at a place determined by Health Authorities.

 

Other measures

• The use of a mask is mandatory on public services and on the street whenever social distancing is not guaranteed. This requirement is mandatory for all older than 10 years old.
• Consumption of alcoholic beverages on the street is prohibited.
 

 

 

      Schedules:

 

Presentation of the EU Covid Digital Certificate or negative test to Covid-19 in the following activities:

  • Travel by air or sea;
  • Hotels and Local Accommodation;
  • Restaurants - indoor areas | on weekends and holidays;
  • Gymnasiums (for group classes);
  • Spas;
  • Casinos and bingos;
  • Cultural, sport or corporate events with more than 1,000 people/outdoor or 500 people/indoor;
  • Weddings and baptisms with more than 10 people.
     

From August 1st

· End of the time limitation for circulation on public roads from 23:00;
· Restaurants can now be open until 2:00 am, the maximum number of 6 people per group/table inside and 10 people on the terraces. For customers, it is still necessary, on Friday nights, weekends and holidays, to present he EU Covid Digital Certificate or negative tests;
· Sports events with public (rules to be defined by the DGS);
· Cultural shows with 66% capacity and the closing time is extended until 2:00 am;
· Weddings and baptisms with a capacity of 50%.

 

From September 5th

· End of mandatory use of mask on public roads;
· Restaurants, cafes and patisseries are now limited to 8 people per group inside and 15 per group on terraces;
· Weddings and baptisms venues with a 75% capacity;
· Cultural shows with 75% of the capacity;
· Public transport with unlimited capacity.
