International Day for Monuments and Sites

International Day for Monuments and Sites (IDMS), established by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) on 18th April 1982, is celebrated on 18th April.

Part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, this is an opportunity to know the heritage of a secular country like Portugal.

The monuments, museums and palaces of Lisboa are joining the commemorations, with a number of activities planned.

As in previous years, there will be no shortage of walks, exhibitions, guided tours, leisure activities... and much more, in a day that can be celebrated by everyone.
