MEO KALORAMA!

The month of September brings a new music, art and sustainability festival, MEO Kalorama.

The stage is set up in one of the city's biggest urban parks, Parque da Bela Vista (Bela Vista = beautiful view), where the festival gets the inspiration for its name – 'kalorama', which means 'beautiful view' in Greek.

The announced national and international artists are expected to provide three days of much excitement.

This last summer festival in Europe will present a different headliner for each of the three days, namely The Chemical Brothers, Arctic Monkeys and Disclosure.

These artists will be joined by names such as Jessie Ware, Róisín Murphy, Kraftwerk, James Blake, Chet Faker, Bonobo, Ornatos Violeta, Rodrigo Leão Cinema Project, Peaches, among others.

Sustainability, innovation, inclusion and music are brought together in a festival which will try to use greener energies, promote local commerce and reuse and recycle resources.
