Morder o Pó by Fernão Cruz

First individual exhibition, in an institutional context, by Fernão Cruz, a young artist who has been formulating in his own way a question as old as mankind and which concerns death.

Painting is usually, for the artist, a realm of fiction elevated by humour and by expansive gestures but in this project, Morder o Pó, he opens a door to another dimension: a narrow passage and a dark place where sculpture is free-falling into an unfathomable abyss.
