[ 28-06-19 | 27-10-19 ] This exhibition reflects on Inês Norton’s research into the contemporary tension between the concepts of natural and synthetic, bringing together 18 works that highlight the urgency of regaining full consciousness of our body.
The artist emphasises the omnipresence of artificiality and the need to ask “if, along with this digital distance, we also reject direct body contact, replacing it with an aseptic, risk-free kind of life?”
The name of the exhibition gains an ironic sense, as museums are spaces in which it is normally forbidden to touch.
