[ October ] For aficionados of comics, the Amadora International Festival offers an opportunity to mingle with authors and other professionals from all over the world.

The 33rd edition of the country's most relevant cartoon festival will have more exhibition space and novelties.
Besides the ten national and international showings at the Ski Skate Amadora Park, the commercial area was enlarged in order to host releases, autograph sessions and talks.
The big novelty this year is the area dedicated to gaming, with several initiatives connected with cartoons, ranging from arcade games, virtual reality games and videogames to competitions and presentations.
