Setúbal – Atlantic Mackerel Week

Mackerel is queen at a gastronomic festival
Probably, when we talk about Setubal cuisine, fried cuttlefish, sardines and horse mackerel immediately come to mind. However, there is another famous fish in these parts, the mackerel, which will be queen in the ‘Semana da Cavala’ in Setúbal.

Several restaurants in the city participate in the 'Semana da Cavala' and all the menus include delicacies such as steam mackerel, fisherman mackerel, mackerel fillets and mackerel timbale.
